New car finance deals on models from Audi, Hyundai and Honda, plus online brokers
Advertisement

The 18-plate" registration numbers arrived on 1 April 2018, and you"ve probably spotted some examples on your travels by now. However, with car sales in the midst of a slowdown in the UK, manufacturers would still like to see a lot more new cars hitting the road.

This is great news if you"re in the market for a new car, because there are plenty of generous offers out there to tempt you into the showroom. Many of these were set at the beginning of this financial quarter and will continue until the next – you"ll find a wide range of these by scrolling down the page.

Closer to the top, you"ll find the hottest short-term deals that have been announced recently. Every week, we look for the best new deals and highlight them below. Some incentives you"ll find include reduced interest rates and special finance contributions when you take advantage of a car maker"s finance deals. Others might include free insurance or road tax.

• Britain"s best-selling cars

Fixed deals aside, in many cases you"ll secure a healthy discount by simply haggling with a salesperson. If negotiating makes you nervous, our guide will help you drive a bargain.

Online retailers are well worth trying, too. Brokers such as Buyacar can often beat the deals offered by bricks-and-mortar showrooms – right now Buyacar has dozens of new and pre-registered cars that start at less than £100 per month.

Pre-registered cars can be extremely good value – many haven"t been driven further than off the transporter and have been registered simply to boost a dealer"s "new car" sales figures. We"ve produced a guide that offers advice about buying a pre-registered car and can also offer help on choosing the right car for your needs.

You might find that your existing car is worth more than you think. Following controversy surrounding diesel emissions, several manufacturer scrappage schemes are still in action, which might tempt you to trade in your older, less efficient diesel for a new, less polluting model.

Below is our guide to the best new car deals we"ve found this week, including those from manufacturer websites and online brokers.

Deals from brokers

With such competitive offers from manufacturers and dealers, online brokers need to work hard to keep up. This week’s top broker deal shows that your business has never been more welcome.

BuyaCar deals

You can get yourself over £5,000 off a nearly new Alfa Romeo Giulietta. It might be a bit long in the tooth now, but that means there are some serious bargains to be had.

New Super models start at £22,25, but BuyaCar has models with less than 50 miles on the clock from £16,995.

Looking for something small, cute, and cheap? Fiat’s Panda is often described as the thinking man’s (or woman’s) Fiat 500 - because it’s the same car underneath but with a more practical body on top.

2018 models can currently be bought with a £1600-£2000 discount depending on specification. Some of these have less than 10 miles on the clock.

A whopping £6,000 can be had off a BMW 3 Series Touring at the moment, as long as you don’t mind it having a couple of hundred miles on the clock.

It’s still an 18 plate car, and it still comes with a luxurious feel you rarely get from other manufacturers. Plus it comes in estate form with a massive 495-litre boot.

The Jeep Wrangler is one of the finest off-roaders there is. Skid plates, four-wheel-drive, and an interior you simply wash with a hose, all come as standard.

Models with fewer than 20 miles are currently being offered with a £4,115 discount.

Broadspeed deals

Broadspeed can put you behind the wheel of a stylish Renault Twingo GT with the 110bhp 0.9-litre engine for £12,755 – a saving of £1,495 on the RRP of £14,255. After their fee, you can drive away for £12,959.

Carfile deals

Carfile is offering big discounts on the Skoda Kodiaq SUV. This means you can choose a 1.4-litre petrol Kodiaq S for £19,888 – a saving of £2,742 over the £22,630 list price.

If you have an eye on something else, additional discounts are available on certain new, unregistered cars in the company’s stock.

Best new car deals – quarterly

UK car sales are very strong, which means the competition between manufacturers to sell you a car has never been stiffer.

You should capitalise on this when you"re hunting for your next car, because there are plenty of new car deals offering everything from low monthly payments to interest-free credit, free equipment upgrades and big discounts. Keep reading for the best deals straight from the manufacturers, or visit our best cars section to check out the top models on the market today.
